This one-day lab session pulls all the pieces together for planning and executing specific tasks on medium-voltage energized equipment. A planning session is followed by hands-on practice in Shermco’s training substation under the supervision of our field-experienced instructors. \n*Tuition price is for open enrollments\, does not include costs for on-site bookings. \nCOURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES: \n\nFocusing on medium-voltage applications.\nHow to assemble all the components of an electrical safety program into a practical job plan.\nHazard identification and risk assessment.\nAbsence of voltage testing of medium-voltage switchgear.\nGrounding of medium-voltage switchgear.\nChanging medium-voltage air-switch fuses.\nInserting and removing (racking) medium-voltage circuit breakers.\nInspection of PPE and arc-rated clothing.
